You may cancel your payment obligations under the Loan Agreement, without cost or finance charges, no later than 5:00 p.m. Central Time of the second business day immediately following the Disbursement Date (“Cancellation Deadline”). Your Disbursement Date is the date the funds were transferred to your financial institution. This may not be the same date your bank makes those funds available to you, so please call us at (833) 987-4837 as soon as possible if you want to cancel your loan. If you miss the cancelation deadline, you can still pay off your loan early without penalties and pay only the interest you’ve accrued up to your pay-off date.

How do I get a copy of my loan documents?

How can I save money on my loan?

The best way to minimize the cost of your loan and save is to pay your loan off in full early. If you are unable to do this, you can still save money by making extra payments towards the principal of your loan or making more than the minimum payment on your scheduled due date.  River Valley does not charge any early pre-payment penalties.  To make extra payments, log into your account and select ” Payment Options,” or call us at (833) 987-4837 for assistance.

What if I need to change my payment date?

If you need to change your payment date, please get in touch with us no later than three (3) days before your next scheduled payment date.

How do I repay my loan?

The quickest and easiest method to make your payments is through ACH, an automated electronic transfer from your bank account. We do accept other payment methods such as debit cards, cashier’s checks, or money orders.

River Valley does not charge any early pay-off penalties or fees, and it will reduce the overall cost of your loan. What are your rates and fees?

There are many factors that go into determining what the APR% will be on your loan. The APR varies based on a customer’s specific loan situation.

You can find details of your specific payment amounts, payment dates, rates (APR), and specific fee information in your loan agreement. You can review and download a copy of the loan agreement at any time during the life of your loan by logging in to your account at members.rivervalleyloans.com.

Please note this is an expensive form of credit. We encourage customers to pay off their loans as soon as possible.

How soon will I get my funds?

In most cases, your funds will be deposited in your bank account as soon as the next business day after your application has been processed and approved. You can request same-day funding up to 2:00 p.m. CST Monday – Friday by calling (833) 987-4837.

For loans processed on weekends or bank holidays, you will receive your funds as soon as the next business day (weekends and holidays are not considered a business day). Please verify with your bank as additional incoming fees may be applied.

To help the funding process go as quickly as possible, keep an eye out for your confirmation emails as they may contain important information about the status of your loan. If you don’t see your emails, check your spam folder.

What is the maximum amount of money I can borrow?

There are many factors that go into determining loan amount eligibility. The loan amounts available to qualified borrowers range from $100 to $3,000.

How can I qualify for a River Valley Loan?
